    Every change, as a diff

  5. 05

    Many tasks, many tabs

Sessions side by side. A ping when one finishes.

Questions

Before you install.

Do I need an account to use ORBIX?

ORBIX has no account of its own. You bring a model: an API key from a provider, a sign-in such as OpenRouter, or a model running on your own PC.

Where does my code go?

To the model you choose, and only the files the agent reads for your task. A local model (Ollama or LM Studio) keeps everything on your PC.

Can I undo what the agent changed?

Yes. Every file change has its own undo, and /undo reverts a whole reply.

Will it change files or run commands without asking?

No. Reading and searching never ask. Edits and commands ask first, unless you switch to “Allow everything” in Settings.

What is the OMP CLI?

An optional command-line agent from the OMP authors. If you install it, ORBIX can run sessions with it, using its own sign-ins and settings.

Does it run on Mac or Linux?

No. ORBIX is a Windows app. It can run commands on Windows or inside WSL.

Is it free?

ORBIX is free to use. The source is available under the Functional Source License and turns MIT after two years. Your model provider charges for its own usage.
